About T20 Blast Tips
The T20 Blast is English county cricket’s domestic T20 competition and is the oldest of its sort, having been around since 2003.
In the past it’s been named: the Friends Provident T20, the Friends Life T20, the NatWest T20 Blast and for the 2016 edition and up to and including the 2019 edition, the Vitality Blast.
You can get T20 Blast tips ahead of the tournament and during it here at Betting Maestro.
These days it’s contested in a Group Stage (divided into Northern and Southern division) before the quarter-finals are played. Then it’s Finals Day, where two semi-finals take place and then the Final, all played at the same venue and during the course of one day.
Edgbaston in Birmingham has hosted Finals Day on 10 of the 16 editions, including all of the last six editions.
Teams in the t20 Blast are allowed to field a maximum of two overseas players, excluding Kolpak players.
Leicestershire are the only side to have won it on three occasions with Northants and Hampshire the only sides to have won it twice. The defending champions are Worcestershire, who won it for the first time in 2018.
One of the top T20 Blast tips is to look not at the team with the best overseas players but rather those which have the best-balanced teams and are able to win both home and away.
